Highlands Motoring Festival® has grown from a one-day car show to a four-day and evening festival to become one of the South’s most popular automotive events and was voted Best Concours by Classic Motorsports Magazine in 2019. Highlands Motoring Festival’s® greatest asset is the resort town of Highlands NC and its people. The village is a sparkling jewel during June, its high elevation ensuring cool summertime temperatures. The location, surrounded by mountains, national forests, and waterfalls, makes it rich with scenery, while high quality mountain roads attract driving enthusiasts from around the world. For decades, Highlands has been a popular destination for golfers, hikers, and fly-fishers, and its vibrant Main Street is a blend of almost 100 shops, boutiques, and restaurants concentrated along a three-block stretch only steps away from the Highlands Motoring Festival® show field. Highlands Motoring Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting local, human needs, charities.

“How on earth did you find all these ROADS? I’ve lived here 25 years and have never been on these roads!”
“Thanks so much for putting all these routes together. I thought I knew all the backroads in Western North Carolina but after driving a One Lap of the Mountain route I realize I was wrong. Where are we going next?”
"I first thought this was just for motor enthusiasts with hot cars, boy was I wrong. This is a great way to travel the area, my wife and I loved the trip we took and all the places the book shows us to see and stop at. Well Done!"
