Congratulations to the winners of the First Annual HMF Road Rally. After three hours of great mountain driving, there was a tie. A classic America vs. British battle. Sudden death quiz between Dale Bellows, in a 73 Chevrolet Corvette, and Teresa Farver in a 1980 Triumph TR 8, came down to a question of how much was a barrel of crude oil in 1905. American team guessed $5.00, while the British speculated $20. Correct answer was …… $ 0.05. Winner was Dale Bellows. A special prize was also given for the combination of oldest driver combined with oldest car. The Old Fahrt award went to Richard Martorell in his 1938 BMW 328.
